Hands-free load guidance

Choose working length around the task.

Practical RiggerSafe specification notes for the United Kingdom teams.

01

Start with operator position.

Mark the pinch zone and the position from which guidance can be performed within the approved lift plan. The tool length does not define a universal safe distance.

02

Check the complete movement.

Allow for the approach, contact angle, handle clearance and release. A longer pole can be harder to manage in a crowded bay or vessel deck.

03

Match contact and surface.

Rubber, low-friction and aluminium inserts serve different contact conditions. Confirm grip, marking, wear and temperature requirements with PSC before selecting.

04

Specify an available configuration.

Yellow and neon green: 21, 42, 50, 72 and 96 inches. Blue: 24, 36, 48, 60, 72 and 96 inches. Use the selector to prepare your requirement; final availability is confirmed with quotation.
